In my English patterns I use the U.S. crochet abbreviations.

ReplyDeletemma = mezza maglia alta
means "hdc - half double crochet"
In Spanish it's : "mpa - medio punto alto".
I have not seen "mma" used in Spanish. You might be referring to an Italian pattern.

Stb means "Stäbchen" which means "double crochet"
