Zakumi is a cheetah. He is the mascot of the 2010 world football cup in South Africa.
The name Zakumi is a composition of ZA, the lettering denoting Zuid Afrika (South Africa in Dutch) and "Kumi", which means 10 in languages across South Africa. More important: he is cute and huggable
